I went glamour camping with my partner, Malcolm, in Glastonbury for three days last week. We went to Shapwick nature reserve where we saw an Osprey, our first one, in the flesh and feathers :-) This picture is a record shot, the Osprey was a little far away to get a good shot and I only had my little Lumix camera with me, but it was quite exciting to actually see the bird in real life.

So pleased to see that you've found an Osprey, Linda, and well done for capturing it with your camera, evwen if it was at a great distance. It's encouraging that Ospreys are slowly making a comeback in UK and are in Somerset. Hopefully they'll eventually be seen throughout the UK where habitat allows.

Glamour camping?
Thankyou Roy. Glamour camping was a cabin, we had to bring our own bedding etc but did not need to bring our tent and the airbed. It was very nice, no hassle of putting up a tent, especially if it raining.
